Every year, the city of Bois-des-Filion organizes a contest to encourage its residents to embellish their city by having nice gardens and flowers. For many years now, I am taking the pictures for each and every selected address by the volunteer comity roaming the city’s streets in search of these magnificence.
Because of the pandemic, many activities were either canceled or transformed. However, in this case, the impact were minimal, limited to the evening where prices are given which had to be canceled and replaced by another solution to give the winners their price. For my part, the work involved was not changed: roaming the streets of Bois-des-Filion, taking pictures of each and every selected addresses. Fortunately, I’m not the one judging !! What a nice way to enjoy summer and also witness the hard work put by everyone on their little piece of land.
This year, I offered the city to give access to these pictures through my website. These were never really released and people often wondering where they could see them. Each resident will also have the option to download the pictures of their house free of charge. Thus it’s 761 picture from approximately 220 addresses that are now browsable.

It’s possible to browse the entire collection grouped according to their sector (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) or even browse based on the street name.
To obtain their pwn pictures, the residents visit another section where, once they enter their address, their pictures are presented and they can freely download them, and may even order enlargements.
