It’s in the greatest secret than Pierre-Luc for many months prepared the unfolding of that morning that would become an impossible to erase memory for him and his sweet Stéphanie. He contacted me asking to capture the best moments, the emotions and their love. To immortalize this morning for them. I just couldn’t refuse to participate in such a grand moment.
He had planed every little details… Besides me, their were hidden cameras, a good excuse to have his love leave the office, a private chauffeur to pick her up and drive her to Montreal’s old port under almost unbelievable pretences (haha). Even a radio announcement, on this Station Rouge she is so adept of (!!). Above that, her favorite song on the radio at just the right time. Some extra clothing so she could change for the following photo shoot as well other for the planed party and the SPA. EVERYTHING was planed, even the smallest detail !
Filled with unrestrained emotions, Stéphanie found her future husband waiting for her in a park (Marché Bonsecours) in Montreal’s old port. Unable to run due to too much emotions, we easily knew her response even before the official proposal.
It’s down on one knee that Pierre-Luc made is proposal to a submerge with emotions Stéphanie. It was a touching moment; so much I had a hard time concentrating to make sure to capture these moments and not loose anything from the unfolding moment made for dreams. I also had to stay to a distance, discret so not to be discovered … yet. It was hard to see from afar with my watering eyes 😉
After a little while, and a change of clothing, light hearted, we spent some time some time together to create some memorable pictures of the special day.
Only once the proposal made, and accepted of course, could I gently approach the couple, still giving them the space and time to continue to live this wonderful and emotive moment. There was an employee from the Rouge FM Radio station, Alain Jean-Mary, with us as well. He was filming the whole thing and gathering some ‘in the moments’ comments from the couple. Once more, I cannot thank both of you enough for allowing me to live this wonderful moment with you; this magical moment. I wish the both of you lots of love, flowering heart through life, in all its good and bad moments, and truck loads of happiness for innumerable years.
